Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Condo Host Buddy ("the app", "we") handles information when a host uses the app to manage rental units, bookings, schedules and finances. It is written for account holders (hosts and their staff) and describes the app's data practices as maintained by the app owner.

1. Information we process

• Account information — the email address you sign up with, and the display name or profile photo shared by Google if you sign in with Google.
• Workspace data you enter — business profile, units, bookings, guest names and contact details, staff records, tasks, bills, invoices and financial records.
• Technical data — basic request and error information needed to keep the service running and secure.

2. Guest information you enter

Guest names, contact details and notes are entered by you, the host. You remain responsible for collecting that information lawfully, telling your guests how you use it, and only recording what you genuinely need for the stay, invoicing and legal record keeping.

3. How we use information

• To authenticate you and keep your workspace separate from other accounts.
• To store and sync your records so they are available on every device you sign in to.
• To produce the calendars, schedules, invoices and reports you request.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse and diagnose faults.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use guest details for advertising.

4. Storage and access control

Workspace data is stored in a managed cloud database with per-account access rules: records are readable and writable only by the signed-in account that created them. Traffic between your browser and the service is encrypted in transit. Some preferences (such as theme choice) are also cached in your browser for speed.

5. Service providers

We rely on infrastructure providers for hosting, database, authentication and email delivery. They process data only to provide those services to us. Google is involved only if you choose Google sign-in.

6. Retention

Your records are retained while your account is active. Using the reset options in Settings permanently deletes your workspace records. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your workspace data, subject to any records we must keep by law.

7. Your choices

• Access and correct your data at any time inside the app.
• Export invoices and financial reports as PDF or image files.
• Delete your records with the reset options, or request account deletion.

8. Children

The app is intended for business use by adults. Child guest details (name and age) exist only because occupancy rules require them, and should be limited to what the booking needs.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted in the app.
